SA Cup: SWD stun Boland, Griquas march on

The SWD Eagles handed the Boland Cavaliers their first defeat of the SA Cup season, while Griquas and the Pumas continued their strong runs in round four. Coach Heyneke Meyer’s Eagles produced their best performance of the campaign to beat Boland 33-24 in George. The teams were locked at 7-7 at half-time, but SWD found another gear in the second half. Trailing 21-7, the Eagles hit back through a try from loose forward Ulrich Stander before taking control late on.
