About us
The Betway Scores app is owned by Merryvale Limited who contracts Red Interactive Limited (hereafter referred to as “Red Interactive”, “we”, “us”) to operate the apps. Red Interactive L is a company incorporated in the United Kingdom with company registration number 05720118 and registered office at St Pancras Campus, 100 Royal College Street, London NW1 0TH, United Kingdom which operates the website www.betwayscores.com and related products (collectively, the Products). This Privacy Notice describes how we collect, store, use and protect your personal data.

What data do we collect?
Data we collect through your use of the Products
When you use our products, we may collect personal data about you. For example, when you use our Products, your geographic location, how you use the Products, information about the type of device you use, your open device identification number, date and time stamps of your visits, your unique device identifier, your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address and domain name. This information is generally used to help us provide you with the most relevant information and to administer and improve the Products. Below are examples of how we collect information from you automatically:
Log files
Like most websites and apps, we collect certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and clickstream data. We use this information to maintain and improve the performance of the Products.
Analysis
We use analytics services (including, but not limited to, Google Analytics) to help analyse how users use the Products. Analytics services use cookies to collect information, such as how often users visit the Products, and we use such information to improve our Products. By using our Products, you agree to our use of analytics.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of information (text files) that a website sends to your device hard drive while you view that website. Websites can use these text files to make the user experience more efficient. The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 that we can store such cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of the betwayscores.com and bwscores.com websites. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission.
Location information
If you have activated location services on your mobile device or allowed us to access your location in your browser, we may collect location information to track where our users are for regulatory purposes. If you do not want us to collect this information, you can disable location services on your mobile device or revoke our permission to access your location on your browser through your browser settings, but if you do so, some of our services become unavailable.
Third party sources
Not all personal data we hold about you is provided to us directly by you. We may also collect information from third parties, such as our partners, service providers and publicly available websites (i.e. social media platforms), to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, provide services we believe may be of interest, help us maintain data accuracy, provide and improve the Products, or respond to any queries you may raise.
Data you provide us
You may choose to provide us with your personal data. For example, you may choose to open a Betway Scores account and provide us with your registration details, such as username, password, email, mobile phone number and country of residence, or you may opt not to create an account and still choose your favourite teams to follow. You may also want us to keep in touch with you through news and offers, or you may want to sign up for our referral marketing program and provide your mobile phone number, name and email. You can provide us with your details, such as a username or alias, in order to participate in our comments section, leave messages about matches and talk to other Betway Scores users. You can also choose to provide us with your name and contact number in order to participate in any contest we run.
How we use your personal data
Generally, the personal data you provide to us is used to respond to your requests, help us improve our Products and provide you with better service, or market our Products. For example, we use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain and improve our Products.
- To respond to comments and questions and provide customer service.
- To send information, such as confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative and support messages.
- To inform you about promotions, future events and other news in relation to our Products or other products and services, whether ours or our selected partners.
- To link or combine user information with other personal data we obtain from third parties, to help us understand your needs and provide you with better service.
- To develop, improve and offer marketing and advertising activities in relation to the Products.
- To establish your identity within our system and gather relevant information to build a customer profile for you. This process can be known as profiling.
- To facilitate the creation and protection of your account, including for identification and verification purposes.
- To personalise our Products and offer you a personalised experience.
- To perform statistical analysis, studies and data analysis.
- To comply with any regulatory requirements.
We may use your personal data, such as your in-app behaviour, interests, location, age, online identifiers and analytics information to create new personal data about you from inferences and predictions we make about you. To do this, we may use a combination of manual reviews and automated detection systems based on machine learning.
We may also create anonymous data records from your personal data by completely excluding or obfuscating information that makes the data identify you. We use this anonymous data to analyse request and usage patterns in order to improve the content of our Products. We reserve the right to use anonymous data for any purpose and to disclose anonymous data to third parties at our sole discretion.
Depending on your marketing preferences, we will use your personal data to send you information, through the contact methods for which you authorise us, in relation to our brands, Products, competitions, prizes and offers regarding services from third-parties. The information we send you about promotions, surveys and markets will be based on our legitimate interests or your consent.

Disclosure of your personal data
We may disclose your personal data to third-parties whom you authorise to receive such information or to third-party service providers (including other members of the Group) for the purpose of providing you with the services we offer through our Products. We ensure that all third parties with whom your data is shared have the same or similar level of data protection as described in this Privacy Notice.
Some examples of how we may disclose your information are:
- To fulfil the purpose for which you provided us with such information, for any other purpose that we have informed you of when providing us with the information, or with your consent.
- To meet regulatory obligations.
- To our subsidiary and affiliated companies, as well as to any Group company.
- To third parties for the purpose of processing payments made through the Products
- To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to contribute to our business.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganisation, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation proceedings or of another similar type, when the personal data we have about users is among the transferred assets.
- If we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary for legal or regulatory purposes.
We may share your personal data within the Group for the purposes of managing your relationship with us and promoting the other great brands offered by the Group.
Conditions for the processing of personal data
We process your personal data for a variety of reasons, each of which is covered by relevant data protection laws:
Consent.
The processing of your personal data by us will be necessary so that we can provide you with services related to our Products. On occasion, we may request your consent to process personal data in a specific manner, in which case your personal data will be processed in accordance with that consent, and you may revoke your consent in writing at any time. As an example, we need your consent to send you marketing and promotional communications and to collect information about you using non-essential cookies.
Fulfilment of a contract or compliance with a legal obligation.
We may also need to process your personal data where this is necessary for the performance of a contract (such as the Terms and Conditions when opening a User Account) or for us to comply with our various legal responsibilities.
Legitimate interests.
Finally, we may also process your personal data when we consider that such processing responds to our legitimate interests, and provided that such processing does not harm your interests, rights or freedoms. Some examples of processing by us based on legitimate interests are:
- When we disclose your personal data to entities within our Group following a restructuring or for internal administrative purposes.
- When we identify that certain companies may offer you additional benefits to our services or provide us with valuable information about your use of our Products.
- Processing for the purpose of ensuring network and information security, including preventing unauthorised access to our electronic communications network.
- Compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
Your rights
As a user of our Products, you have the following rights:
- The right to ask what personal data we have about you at any time
- The right to ask us to update and correct any old or incorrect personal data we hold about you.
- The right to unsubscribe from any marketing communications we may send you.
- The right to request deletion of your user account.

Data storage
We are committed to adopting security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and to prevent any accidental or unlawful processing, disclosure, destruction, loss, alteration and damage. Our approach focuses on risk prevention. To this end, we use encryption wherever possible to reduce the impact of any potential incidents and regularly review our procedures. Because the protection of some communications over the Internet is not absolute, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose through your Internet connection. You accept the security implications inherent in the use of the Internet and Red Interactive will not accept any liability for any direct, consequential, incidental, indirect or punitive loss or damage arising from such cases.
Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, including any historical retention periods that may be necessary for regulatory purposes. We do not collect more personal data from our users than is necessary for our purposes, and our data management policies include deleting any personal data that we no longer need.
Third Party Websites
Our Products may contain links to third-party websites. When you click on a link to any other website or location, you will leave our Products and go to another site, and another entity may collect personal or anonymous data about you. We do not control, review, and are not responsible for such third-party sites. We recommend that you read the Privacy Notices of each website and application you visit. Any links to third-party websites or locations are provided for your convenience and do not imply our endorsement of such third parties or their products, content or websites.
If you link your Betway Public Profile used for social content such as Clips and Comments, to your Betway Scores app, any comments and clips you post will be visible in both your Betway account and via Betway Scores. Betway Limited will remain the Data Controller of any data in your Betway gaming account. The Betway Scores and BW Scores website and apps will never see any data contained within your Betway gaming account, it will only have access to your Public Profile as per the Profile and Social Contents Terms and Conditions. Under 18 years old
The Products are not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly record or retain any personal data of such persons. If we unintentionally collect personal data relating to a minor, we will take reasonable steps to immediately close the account in question and delete any records where possible. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use the Products or provide any information to us directly.

Red Interactive is the “Data Controller” of the Products and any third party required by us provide you with the services of the Products is the “Data Processor”. If you are dissatisfied with our Privacy Notice or the way we process your personal data, you should contact Betway Scores in the first instance and, if the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Supervisory Authority.
