Schoemies strengthens struggling Edinburgh

Pierre Schoeman will start for Edinburgh against the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday, with another South African loosehead prop on the bench. The Scotland international returns from Six Nations duty, while Springbok Boan Venter provides cover among the replacements. Edinburgh are coming off a heavy 54-17 defeat to the Lions at Ellis Park, a result that dropped them to 13th on the Vodacom URC log. Coach Sean Everitt has made several changes to his side, boosted by the return of key internationals. Grant Gilchrist slots back into the second row, while Darcy Graham starts on the wing. Centre James Lang also returns from injury to partner Matt Currie in midfield.
