The Lakers, in need of another big man, land the former Trail Blazers center, who had his contract bought out by Portland, for about $9 million.

Former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton, who finalized a buyout with the Blazers on Sunday, has agreed to sign with the Lakers, sources told ESPN.
